15 Year Old Killer Escapes From Police Detention In Benin
In Benin, a teenage boy by the name of Gift Edosomwan who allegedly killed a mother and daughter and was detained in a Juvenile Welfare Home has escaped from detention.
According to reports, Gift, a 15-year-old girl use knife to stabb Itohan Enagbare and her 3-year-old daughter Iwinosa to death.
She was arrested and taken to custody at the Juvenile Welfare Home where she escaped alongside with others on Saturday morning.
The circumstances surrounding his escape is not all that clear and according to report it was done in a suspicious circumstance.
Speaking to newsmen as regards the escape, Jefferson Uwoghiren, the Counsel to the victims’ family described the escape of the suspect as disappointing, worrisome.
Barr. Uwoghiren said “we are shocked and disappointed that Gift who was arrested and taken to the Juvenile Home could escape from custody”.
He said, we demand that this suspected killer of Itohan and her child should be re-arrested immediately so that the society can be safe for other people.
Also those who are responsible for his escape should also be arrested and because it is very dangerous to have a serial killer on the loose.
