Monarch In Delta State Commends Gov. Okowa On Infrastructure
The Delta State governor, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has been commended by the traditional ruler of Igbodo Kingdom, Obi Ikechukwu Osedume, in Ika North-East Local Government Area for his effort in building a sustainable infrastructure in the state.
The traditional ruler of Igbodo Kingdom said this at the 2016 annual conference of Igbodo Development Union.
During the Igbodo Development Union annual conference, Obi Osedume said that the Governor Okowa has done well for the state, he is fulfilling the promise he made to Deltans during his campaign for the governorship election.
The traditional ruler of Igbodo who was represented by Dr. Ifeanyi Unomah, the Iyase of Igbodo Kingdom at the IDU conference on which few members of elected to the Central Executive Committee requested that the new administration under the governorship of Okowa should extend their good presence to the Kingdom.
At the 2016 annual conference of Igbodo Development Union, the traditional ruler urged the people of Igbodo kingdom to remain committed ensuring peace and development in the community.
Some of the persons elected are Deacon Matthew Okwaje, as President of IDU, Martins Okocha as first Vice President, Azuka Monye were elected as a second Vice President, Emmanuel Egbuchiem as Secretary General, Chiedu Uyanne as Director of Publicity, Nkem Nwaeke as National Financial Secretary, Solomon Azi as Director of Social and Culture and George Azike as National Treasurer
