NITEL Recruitment 4000 Nigerians In View
Four thousand Nigerian are at the verge of being employed by the former Nigerian Telecommunication Limited NITEL which is now being known as NTEL.
NTEL is gearing up into the nation’s market and are looking forward to employing over 4000 Nigerians into the organization.
Mr Damian Udeh at a meeting with the Bureau Public Enterprises, said that the company, NTEL are looking forward to generating employment for over 4000 Nigerians in the country over the next five years.
Dr. Vincen Akpotaire, the Acting Director General, Bureau of Public Enterprises, BPE, however, said that before the company, NTEL, can triumph successfully that must have a unique products so they can effectively compete with other existing networks in the country.
The Acting Director of the BPE, Dr Akpotaire said this at a meeting on Tuesday with representative of the NTEL management who was led by Mr Osondu C. Nwokoro, the visit to the Bureau of Public Enterprises was to present the post-privatization roll out plan.
Dr. Apotaire told the NTEL company to use the right technology so as to turn the communication sector around, he went on to say they are satisfied with the NATCOM’s post-privatization roll out plans, he promised them that the BPE will render all the all the necessary support and dedication to its responsibility to make sure that they achieve their objectives of privatizing NITEL/MTEL
He further to say that the BPE will work together with National Council Privatization, NCP, to deal with some issues so as to facilitate the execution of the roll out plans of the company because they are excited and hopeful that the company will take over and fill a good position in the telecommunication industry.
