Ogun State Christian Leaders Commends President Buhari Fight Against Corruption
On Sunday in Ogun state, the Leaders of the Christ Global Network has commended the administration of Mohammed Buhari for the relentless fight against corruption.
Bishop Taiwo Akinola, one of the leaders of the Christian community in the state, said that all culprit must be probed and investigated irrespective of his political party or religion.
The Apostolic Presbyter, Bishop Akinola and lots of other different denomination leaders who were in attendance in the state capital, Abeokuta, said, the president, Mohammedu Buhari must be careful in his dealing and negotiations with the Niger Delta militants.
He said, such negotiations need careful analysis and its not something to just jump into and because their acts of bombing pipelines can be very pressurizing.
Bishop Taiwo Akinola while speaking with newsmen at the new wine 2016 tagged “the state of the nation” said “the Niger Delta militant crisis should be handled with care, he said President Buhari should tread very softly because if the issue is not well handled it can become something else.
Bishop Taiwo said, two wrongs don’t make a right, the violence expressed by the Niger Delta militants should be condemned.
He also said that the president Mohammedu Buhari should be cautioned on the national grazing reserve bill.
