According to the President of NDYOSD “I’m disappointed that the leadership of organized labor could not do anything against the increase in price of petrol in this time of fuel scarcity, even when fuel was being sold at N145 per liter Nigeria was even the only African country selling fuel in such a high ridiculous amount let alone now that its being sold for N200 per liter”.

The students on the hand, said that the plan to increase fuel is to impoverish Nigerians and they will stop at nothing until all the governmental organization are shut down if nothing is done to reverse the price of petrol to its normal price.
