www.jamb.org.ng – Jamb Portal Check 2016 Admission Status

Due to the recent development brought by the Ministry of Education, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has come up with a new way of granting admission for those who took the last 2016 Jamb UTME.

All candidates who sat for the 2016 Jamb UTME can now check their 2016 Jamb admission status on the Jamb Portal to know which of the tertiary institution is offering them admission.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board initially came up with what they call point system option as a new method by www.jamb.org.ng for granting admission to candidates into tertiary institution.

However www.jamb.org.ng said the point system option was a mere explanation, the board said 2016 admission will be based on your O’level grade and your JAMB score.

How To Check Admission Status on www.jamb.org.ng

Log onto www.jamb.org.ng and enter your jamb registration number in the space provided.

As soon as that is done, then click on check where you have been posted by JAMB for admission.

2016 Jamb admission is now much easier than it has been before but now the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board can decide to send you to where you did not even enter pass your choice of institution, and your course may not be the particular course you enrolled for but this new system is a way to improve on the educational sector n the country.

Please let us know how we can assist you, good luck.
