www.Jamb.org.ng – JAMB Withdraws 2016 Admission Lists Sent To Institutions
www.jamb.org.ng has released a statement saying that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has withdrawn the 2016 admission lists initially sent to tertiary institutions.
According to the statement released on Sunday by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, that the university senates should take up the responsibility of selecting the student that they wish to grant admission and forward it back to the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board to conclude the process.
Part of the statement released by the www.jamb.org.ng head of media, Fabian Benjamin said, “This is to make sue that the University Senate performs their given responsibility and conduct the selection of eligible candidates and refer them to the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB for confirmation in line with the admission requirement, criteria of merit, catchment and educationally disadvantaged states as directed by the Ministry of Education that last policy committee meeting.
www.jamb.org.ng says that the earlier 2016 admission lists sent to tertiary institution by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, was to help the institution fast track the process of admission so as to make other institutions to commerce their own admission process.
